2 years later...

and guess what? I'm still here son!

Yezzir. It's been one hell of a ride since the beginning/end of the blog that I have since forgotten about. Got a lot to talk about. A lot of updates. Some good, some bad, some fun times, and other times id rather just forget about. But thus is the life of an aspiring professional poker player, you never know what the future has in store for you or how things will pan out. You can try to plan and hope for the best... but the poker gods have something totally different in mind. Good or bad? I guess I'll have to wait and see.

So I guess I'll start where I left off. Looks like my last post was May 17,2007. While I cant recall exactly all the events that have taken place in my poker career since then, I can at least give you an idea of what happened. I closed out the rest of 2007 making about 15-20k net profit for the year. But I did really good in closing out mtt's, winning at least 2-3 mtts outright.

2008 was my best year of my poker life. I made around 40k, but did not win any notable mtt's outright. I think I got like 4 or 5 second place finishes, and a lot of 4th-9th place finishes. I don't know what it was, but I couldn't catch a dang break when it came to the final table. Everytime I got it headsup, id take a retarded beat to some spewy monkey and end up leaving a ton of money for the 1st place finisher. Otherwise, Im up at least 55k in 2008.

But 2008 wasn't bad at all, because I did win a $12,500 satellite to the WSOP main event. One sunday I decided to give some supersatellites a shot and try to win a $650 ticket to the stars sunday qualifier. Needless to say I won my first $150 satellite and was able to play the qualifier, and later also won my 12.5k seat to the Main Event (which I did take the cash for).

Ill close up this blog here, becuase it's 2:30am in Hawaii and I have to catch a 1pm flight back to San Francisco.

later ill talk about my trip to Mississippi, getting burnt out from mtt poker, and my new projects of nlhe cash games.

Aloha
